Test with TestFlight
TestFlight installs the real iOS binary built for you on physical devices, before the public App Store release. It is the only way to check the app exactly as your users will receive it — native code included.
Prerequisites
- A build uploaded from Cadrant — see Publish to App Store Connect.
- Access to App Store Connect for your Apple Developer account.
- The TestFlight app installed on the iOS devices you want to use.
Test your build with TestFlight
After Cadrant has uploaded the binary:
Open App Store Connect
Go to App Store Connect → My Apps → your app → TestFlight. The build uploaded by Cadrant should appear there (processing may take a few minutes).Complete export compliance if asked
Apple may ask you to answer a short compliance questionnaire before the build becomes available for testing.Invite testers
Add internal testers (App Store Connect users on your team) and/or external testers. External groups may require a brief Beta App Review the first time.Install on device
Testers open the invite in the TestFlight app, install the build, and exercise the app on a real iPhone — including native APIs.
What to validate on TestFlight
- Native APIs: camera, push notifications, sensors, file pickers, etc.
- Auth and backend flows against your Supabase project.
- Performance and navigation on a real device (not only the in-browser phone frame).
- Permissions prompts and edge cases (denied camera, offline, etc.).
